So going along with the idea that my primary customer segment will be young and busy parents, we can begin to ask: What does our prototypical customer look like?
Based on what I have seen so far and my prior knowledge, I would say that I am looking to cook for the kind of parent, a mother, let's say, who just had her first child, but would not be opposed to having another one. They are around the age of 30 something. Their skin still has elasticity.
They work in an office, and have to act like single parents most of the time. That means that one parent picks up their child(ren), and likely drops the kid with another family helping supervise or at home.
They have good hygiene standards and go to get their hair cut/ styled at least once every month. This customer is not overweight but not too thin, either. (In fact, she still might have some residual extra fat and pounds from her pregnancy.)
They have not been getting a full six to eights hours of sleep, so they are starting to get small bags under their eyes.
For the most part, since I am focusing on Gainesville and the middle class, we can be pretty sure that this customer is born and raised in America.
This picture serves as a stand-in for the customer avatar for this segment.
Now something that this picture fails to capture is how both me and my avatar place a great importance in eating tasty, healthy, and more local food! Of course, our shared location in Gainesville and comparable youth are also traits we share, but unintentionally.
